In Turkey, corporate management ratings are carried out in line with the “”Capital Markets Board Corporate Management Principles” first issued in July 2003 and reissued following revisions and additions in February 2005 by the Capital Markets Board (CMB). These principles are compatible with the “OECD Corporate Management Principles” issued by the OECD in 2004 and referred to globally. They contain principles and practices established taking into consideration situations and circumstances particular to Turkey and in line with recommendations by the OECD. As a result of the evaluation carried out by the RiskMetrics Group (ISS), one of the leading ratings bureaus in the world, TAV Airports Holding has received good management ratings with 8.5 over 10 (83.34%).

TAV Airports Holding CEO M. Sani Þener emphasizes that the success in Corporate Management that TAV Airports has achieved as a company operating internationally is as important as its operational and financial success. Þener stated, “We at TAV Airports see compatibility with corporate management principles as part of our company culture, in order to become a company capable of competing worldwide,” adding that with an increase in compatibility with corporate management principles in Turkey, they expect an increase in foreign investors’ interest in companies.

Nursel Ýlgen, Investors Relations Coordinator for TAV Airports Holding Inc., stated that the high ratings received should be seen as an indication of “the importance the company attaches to corporate management principles and its determination to achieve compatibility.” Pointing out that they established the Investors Relations Unit a long time before TAV Airports’ public offering in February 2007, Ýlgen said: “We are happy to be rewarded for the improvement work we conduct in the area of compatibility with corporate management principles.”

RiskMetrics Group – Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), which has awarded TAV Airports Holding its corporate management ratings, is among the leading organizations in the world in providing services to investors in the field of corporate management and proxy voting in general assemblies. It is one of the organizations that has received permission to carry out ratings in Turkey in the field of compatibility with CMB’s Corporate Management Principles. Founded in 1985 in the USA, the organization has branches in many cities; including Washington DC, Amsterdam, Brussels, Chicago, London, Melbourne, New York, Tokyo, Paris and Toronto.
