NewsPORT, TAV Airports Holding’s bimonthly corporate magazine, is now available in four languages, as French and Georgian have also been added to the Turkish and English online edition.
Published since 2006, NewsPORT Online, which contains all the content of the NewsPORT magazine in Turkish and English, is now available in four languages, in line with all the languages spoken by the human resources of the TAV Group. English and French, spoken as a native language in Tunisia, stand out among the languages most commonly spoken and read by all the local human resources employed by the TAV Group companies, which now operate in Georgia, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Macedonia, Latvia, Libya and Egypt. On the other hand, in the airports operated in Tbilisi, capital of Georgia and in Batumi, one of its main cities, there are a high number of local employees who speak Georgian. Bengi Vargül, Corporate Communications Coordinator for TAV Airports, stated that, as a requirement of the TAV Group’s global identity and on the basis of an understanding that covers the whole of the TAV Family operating in different parts of the world, they have formed multi-lingual platforms where these human resources can share their experiences. Vargül said: “NewsPORT Online takes on this important duty so that all members of TAV can get to know the main organization and the whole global family of which they are a part. This is so that they can communicate with each other on communication and meeting platforms such as the corporate portal. That is why we are now publishing NewsPORT in four languages. The more TAV opens to the world with its companies and services, the more languages NewsPORT will be able to speak.”
