E=mc2

In Einstein’s magical formula, E= Energy, m= mass and c= the speed of light, at 300,000 km/sec. If a small mass moves with a speed that is equal to the square of the speed of light, an enormous amount of energy is produced; that is to say, what transforms masses into “energy” is their velocity at the speed of light. The major part of TAV’s formidable energy derives from the ability of this very large mass to move very rapidly. Rapid research, rapid decisions, rapid implementations and rapid results are our signature characteristics. We at TAV implement all of our processes at the speed of thought; which, as you know, is almost equal to the speed of light.

When you see a shooting star in the sky and you want to make a wish, you generally can’t make it in time… Well, TAV is the company of those who are able to make a wish when they see shooting stars. Our achievements at the end of ten years of airport operation and construction are quite evident. What is apparent is of course the “performance” taking place at the front of the stage. But it is only when you understand the amount of brainwork and effort, the abundance of knowledge, education, honesty, communication and discipline behind the stage, that you can understand the greatness of the performance on stage. What is displayed is a performance that extends from Tunisia to Qatar, from Tbilisi to Skopje, from Tripoli to Cairo and on to Istanbul. But behind the stage there are no wings, because there are no wings at TAV: the main performance takes place backstage.

Scenes change, new players arrive, a new décor is set up, but the performance continues as it always has.

Our performance is the key to our reputation and it has many winners. Most importantly of all, as a global company we represent our country, our engineering, operations, finance, history and culture,;and therefore our reputation.

I believe that all TAV employees will carry forever this “culture of reputation” that is their “social heritage.”

Yours sincerely,
