As TAV Airports continues becoming a globally known leader company within a short time period, we see the results of our collective hard work. Lately, we opened our new airport in Skopje, the capital city of Macedonia, with an enthusiastic ceremony. Once more, we have finalized a huge project that we will all be proud of and wave the flag of our country and company. As TAV family, we have had so many opportunities to experience similar moments during the last 11 years; each time we have continued to proceed proudly and will continue to do so. We have submitted the best bid at the Medina Airport Tender against our global competitors. We will also continue our smart growth within geographical regions that we see as target markets and to increase our success in global economy by combining our fast decision making skills with our ability of bringing together different cultures.
If the key factor behind this success was hard-work, the second was our innovation skills. Success for us has never been based on just figures; we have always aimed to improve our leader position as we have worked together with our competitors for the growth of the sector, in accordance with our “collaborative competition” philosophy. Here are two brief examples to justify our philosophy. Firstly, one of the world's pioneer corporate rating companies ISS Corporate Services has announced TAV Airports' governing rating score as 9.09, 10 being the highest. Thereby, we have maintained our top position in Istanbul Stock Exchange Market (ISE) as we increased our grade, compared to previous year. Secondly, we have launched our mobile applications developed by TAV IT for the use of our passengers. The first of their kinds, these applications have soon secured themselves a place amongst the “most popular” at the Apple Store.
These two examples clearly demonstrate our leadership in areas of good governance, business ethics, innovation and getting up to date as we become successful as a result of our hard-work. These are the characteristics of our company that make our success permanent.
