THE ART OF SERVICE FROM TAV
TAV EMPLOYEES COMBINE FINANCIALS WITH THE HARMONY OF DANCE

After receiving13 international awards in various categories for its 2007, 2008, and 2009 Annual Reports, TAV Airports Holding did not break the tradition and has taken off with the art of dance for 2010 Annual Report. Coming together to perform in dance choreographed by Tan Sagturk, a student of ballet legend Rudolf Nuruyev, TAV employees expressed the art of service through the medium of dance in the presentation of financial figures.
2010 Annual Report was prepared with the collaboration of the Investor Relations and the Corporate Communications Coordination Departments and the objective was to highlight the fact that the service TAV provides at its airports has reached the level of art, likening the employees to artists in providing such services.
Sagturk choreographed the dance moves which were performed by TAV employees to reflect the integrated service concept of TAV Airports, which were then captured in photos.
Photos included in the Annual Report show the results of three months of work to share the voices of 18,000 TAV employees with stakeholders. More than 2,000 pictures were taken in the project; photos of each figure and movement were specially selected by choreographer Tan Sagturk and his team. Behind the scenes images were also recorded for the project.
The 2010 Annual Report offered another first with the introduction of QR codes. With the help of QR Codes, readers have direct and easy access to relevant sections on the related TAV website for further details. Linking the published hard copy report directly to the internet, this technology was utilized for the very first time in history.

EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION SURVEY AT TAV
The Employee Satisfaction Survey regularly conducted by TAV Airports Holding Human Resources Coordination Department plays an important role in the implementation of new procedures within the company. While evaluating 2010 survey results for NewsPORT, Human Resources Coordinator Murat Orhan noted that important advancements were made in the application of human resources and informs about the survey results and says When compared to last years survey, we saw an increase in both participation and general satisfaction. This could be thought of as a reflection of the precautions and development strategies which were adopted taking the results of surveys of previous years into consideration. Employee satisfaction has been steadily increasing since 2007. While satisfaction levels increased 1-2 points between 2007 and 2009, the increase of nearly 6 points in 2010 in every category shows that initiatives applied throughout TAV in 2010 were regarded positively by employees. Reviewing changes in each company reveals an increase in satisfaction for employees working in TAV Airports Holding, TAV Istanbul, TAV Operations Services and TAV IT. It is also observed that TAV Georgia, which participated in the survey for the first time this year, was the firm with the highest level of satisfaction with an average rating of 92.
TAV AIRPORTS GAINS MOMENTUM IN NORTHERN EUROPE WITH RIGA
TAV Airports, which has grown to become one of the worlds leading airport operators within a short period of time, has opened the recently renovated Duty Free stores at Riga Airport, an important operational hub of Northern Europe, with a 2 million Euro investment. Turkish Deputy Secretary Suat Hayri Aka, Latvia Ministry of Transport Undersecretary Anrijs Matiss, and TAV Airports Board Chairman Hamdi Akın attended the opening ceremony. Representatives from the official office of TAV Latvia based in the capital were also in attendance. Duty Free stores are being operated by ATU, a subsidiary of TAV. In addition to Duty Free, TAV Airports also provides ground services at Riga Airport through North Hub Services (NHS), of which its subsidiary Havas is a 50% shareholder. In addition to Riga, NHS is now operating also in Stockholm.
NEW AIRLINE COMPANIES IN GEORGIA
As a result of the successful negotiations carried out by TAV Georgia, which is the operator company of Tbilisi International Airport, two new air companies have to enter Georgias air market. Starting from 2nd of June air company Air Astana will operate service to Tbilisi International Airport offering the route Almaty-Tbilisi-Almaty three times a week with Embraer E 190 Aircraft. Moreover, China Southern Airlines will launch its service to Tbilisi on June 9th offering passengers flight Urumqi-Tbilisi-Urumqi with Boeing 737, Boeing 757 and Airbus 330 three times a week.
CANADA-ISTANBUL IS CLOSER NOW
Air Transat, one of the leading airline companies in Canada, has launched direct flights from Montreal to Istanbul. With the first service from Canada to Istanbul, economic and comfortable journey to North America has also become available. The Montreal-Istanbul flights are being organized every week on Sundays and Istanbul-Montreal flights, on every Monday. Planes continue their route from Montreal to Toronto.
ANKARA-BATUMI FLIGHTS LAUNCHED
Batumi Airport in Batumi, the tourism center of Georgia and Ankara Esenboga Airport, both operated by TAV Airports, were interconnected with Ankara-Batumi flights of Anadolu Jet. With the launch of reciprocal flights to Batumi which are scheduled to take place twice week, Anadolu Jet has now increased its international destinations to 15.
THE BTA DIFFERENCE AT THE DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL TERMINALS
After taking over catering operations at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport Domestic Terminal on 1st July 2010, BTA Catering completed the renovation works during April. BTA Catering presents a breath of fresh air; a new, wonderful design, an enriched, flavorful menu and improved service to the Istanbul Ataturk Airport Domestic Terminal. Worldwide known fast-food brands Burger King, Sbarro, Popeyes and Starbucks have taken their places at Istanbul Ataturk Airport Domestic Terminal. Together with the local flavors in different conceptual venues, international brands also meet with the passengers for the first time at the domestic floor. While pointing out the importance of offering passengers local and international cuisine at fair prices, BTA Catering General Manager Sadettin Cesur states We are privileged to be able to offer a wide variety of menu alternatives to passengers. We believe that with our new concepts we will make a difference.
BTA Catering also renovated the catering facilities at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport International Terminal. In addition to self service facilities established in accordance with the needs of passengers, BTA created new conceptual venues with a total seating capacity of 246 in an area of 1,178 m².

Our skills of analysis and communication are the two most important factors in our success. Combining these trades with the experience we gained during the period in which we worked under the Business Development Department has improved our competencies" says Cortuk and informs about their duties as a department and adds We work as a team of four in Istanbul; however, we also have people with which we coordinate at each airport we operate. We have one person in Georgia, two in Tunisia and one in Macedonia who provide support to our team. Our primary goal is to increase traffic at our airports. We carry out our activities in two main areas to achieve our goal. One of them involves all promotional and marketing activities. Within this context, we promote the advantages of flying to our airports to airline companies. We are making presentations illustrating the added value of including our airports in their destination networks.
Our second responsibility is to provide data based on traffic forecasts to all our companies within the holding, all relevant departments and existing/potential investors. We announce 5, 10 and 20 year forecasts on increases in the number of passengers and flights and we also declare the potential opportunities and dangers if needed. This information is invaluable during the pricing phase of tender preparation. Forecasts on the increasing rate of traffic play a vital role in this process. We also prepare marketing plans by all means involving steps to be taken to establish these forecasts. In this manner, we work very closely with the Business Development and Finance teams. We also have close contacts particularly with Corporate Communications in marketing our airports.

LES EMPLOYES DE TAV COMBINENT LES FINANCES ET LHARMONIE DE LA DANSE
Apres avoir recu 13 prix internationaux dans differentes categories pour ses rapports annuels de 2007, 2008 et 2009, TAV Airports Holding na pas rompu avec la tradition et a decolle avec lart de la danse pour le rapport annuel de 2010. Reunis pour realiser une danse choregraphiee par Tan Sagturk, eleve de la legende du ballet Rudolf Nuruyev, les employes de TAV ont exprime leur art du service au moyen de la danse dans la presentation de chiffres financiers.
Le rapport annuel 2010 a ete prepare avec la collaboration des departements des Relations Investisseurs et de la Coordination des Communications dEntreprise et lobjectif etait de souligner le fait que le service que fournit TAV dans ses aeroports a atteint un niveau artistique, en comparant les employes a des artistes en fournissant de tels services.
Mr Sagturk a choregraphie les mouvements de danse qui furent realises par les employes de TAV pour refleter le concept de service integre de TAV Airports, et qui furent pris en photo.
Les photos comprises dans le rapport annuel montrent les resultats de trois mois de travail pour partager les voix de 18 000 employes de TAV avec les actionnaires. Plus de 2000 photographies furent prises dans le projet; des photos de chaque figure et mouvement furent specialement selectionnees par le choregraphe Tan Sagturk et son equipe. Derriere les scenes des images etaient egalement enregistrees pour le projet.
Le rapport annuel 2010 a propose une autre premiere avec lintroduction de flashes codes. Avec laide de flashes codes, les lecteurs ont un acces direct et facile aux sections appropriees du site web de TAV correspondant pour avoir plus de details. Connectant la copie physique publiee du rapport directement a Internet, cette technologie a ete utilisee pour la toute premiere fois dans lhistoire.

ENQUETE DE SATISFACTION DES EMPLOYES CHEZ TAV
LEnquete de Satisfaction des Employes menee regulierement par le Departement de Coordination des Ressources Humaines de TAV Airports Holding joue un role important dans la mise en oeuvre de nouvelles procedures au sein de lentreprise. En evaluant les resultats denquete de 2010 pour NewsPORT, le Coordinateur des Ressources Humaines Murat Orhan a note dimportantes avancees dans lapplication des ressources humaines et il donne des informations sur les resultats de lenquete en disant En comparaison a lenquete de lannee passee, nous avons observe un accroissement a la fois dans la participation et dans la satisfaction generale. Ceci peut etre vu comme le reflet des precautions et des strategies de developpement qui furent adoptees en prenant en consideration les resultats des enquetes des annees precedentes. La satisfaction des employes augmente regulierement depuis 2007. Tandis que les niveaux de satisfaction ont augmente dun a deux points entre 2007 et 2009, laugmentation de presque 6 points en 2010 dans toutes les categories montre que les initiatives mises en oeuvres tout au long de lannee ont ete reçues de maniere positive par les employes. Passer en revue les changements dans chaque societe revele un accroissement de la satisfaction des employes travaillant chez TAV Airports Holding, TAV Istanbul, TAV Services dExploitation et TAV IT. Lon observe egalement que TAV Georgie, qui a participe a lenquete pour la premiere fois cette annee, etait la societe avec le plus haut niveau de satisfaction avec un indice moyen de 92.
TAV AIRPORTS PREND DE LA VITESSE EN EUROPE DU NORD AVEC RIGA
TAV Airports, qui sest developpee pour devenir lun des premiers exploitants daeroports dans le monde dans un court laps de tems, a ouvert les boutiques de Duty Free fraichement renovees a laeroport de Riga, important centre operationnel dEurope du Nord, avec un investissement de 2 millions deuros. Le Secretaire Adjoint Turc Suat Hayri Aka, le Sous-secretaire du Ministere des Transports de Lettonie Anrijs Matiss, et le President du Conseil dAdministration de TAV Airports Hamdi AKIN ont participe a la ceremonie douverture. Des representants du bureau officiel de TAV Lettonie, base dans la capitale, etaient egalement presents. Les boutiques de Duty Free sont exploitees par ATU, une filiale de TAV. En plus du Duty Free, TAV Airports fournit egalement des services au sol a lAeroport de Riga par le biais de North Hub Services (NHS), dont la filiale Havas detient 50 % des parts. Ajoute a Riga, NHS exploite opere desormais aussi a Stockholm.
DE NOUVELLES COMPAGNIES AERIENNES EN GEORGIE
Resultat de la reussite des negociations menees par TAV Georgie, la societe exploitant lAeroport International de Tbilisi, deux nouvelles compagnies aeriennes doivent entrer sur le marche aerien de Georgie. A partir du 2 juin, la compagnie aerienne Air Astana va operer un service vers lAeroport International de Tbilisi en proposant litineraire Almaty-Tbilisi-Almaty trois fois par semaine a bord dun Embraer E 190. De plus, China Southern Airlines va lancer son service vers Tbilisi le 9 juin en proposant aux passagers le vol Urumqi-Tbilisi-Urumqi avec des Boeing 737, Boeing 757 et Airbus 330 trois fois par semaine.
LE CANADA ET ISTANBUL SONT DESORMAIS PLUS PROCHES
Air Transat, lune des compagnies aeriennes leaders au Canada, a lance des vols directs de Montreal a Istanbul. Avec le premier service du Canada vers Istanbul, un voyage economique et confortable vers lAmerique du Nord est egalement desormais realisable. Les vols Montreal-Istanbul sont organises le dimanche de chaque semaine et les vols Istanbul-Montreal, chaque lundi. Les avions continuent leur route de Montreal a Toronto.
LANCEMENT DES VOLS ANKARA-BATUMI
LAeroport de Batumi situe a Batumi, le centre touristique de la Georgie et lAeroport Ankara Esenboga, tous deux exploites par TAV Airports, etaient interconnectes grâce a des vols Ankara-Batumi dAnadolu Jet. BTA Catering presente une bouffee dair frais, un merveilleux nouveau design, un menu riche en gouts et un service ameliore vers le Terminal Domestique de lAeroport Istanbul Ataturk. Les marques de restauration rapide renommee mondiale Burger King, Sbarro, Popeyes et Starbucks ont pris leurs places au Terminal Domestique de lAeroport Istanbul Ataturk. Avec les saveurs locales dans des lieux de differents concepts, les marques internationales rencontrent aussi les passagers pour la premiere fois sur le sol domestique. Tout en mettant laccent sur limportance doffrir aux passagers locaux et internationaux une cuisine a des prix raisonnables, le Directeur General de BTA Catering Sadettin Cesur declare : Nous avons le privilege de pouvoir proposer une grande variete de menus aux passagers. BTA Catering a egalement renove les installations de restauration au Terminal International de lAeroport Istanbul Ataturk. Cette information est inestimable durant la phase detablissement de prix de la preparation dun appel doffre. Les previsions de laugmentation du trafic jouent un role vital dans ce processus. Nous preparons aussi des plans par tous les moyens impliquant les etapes a suivre pour etablir ces previsions. Ainsi, nous travaillons en tres etroite collaboration avec les equipes de Developpement dAffaires et des Finances. Nous avons des contacts rapproches en particulier avec la Communication dEntreprise dans le marketing de nos aeroports.
