TAV Izmir was at the “Travel Turkey Izmir Fair and Conference"

IZMIR WELCOMED NEW INVESTORS

One of Turkey’s most important conferences, the Travel Turkey Izmir Tourism Fair and Conference, was held between 10-13 December 2009 at the Izmir International Fair Center. At the fair, with 430 attendants and procurement teams from 13 countries, TAV Izmir Managing Director Erkan Balcı welcomed foreign investors with the "Destination Izmir" group.

The Travel Turkey Izmir Fair and Conference, the third of which was organized this year, was opened at the Izmir International Fair Center in a ceremony attended by many guests including the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertuğrul Günay. TAV Izmir Managing Director Erkan Balcı welcomed foreign investors at the fair with "Destination Izmir," Voluntary Promotion Platform of Izmir and provided information about Izmir and the Adnan Menderes Airport International Terminal. A cake was cut in honor of the third year celebration of the event.

“WE WILL ACCOMPLISH WHAT WE UNDERTAKE”

TAV Izmir Managing Director Erkan Balcı said that “Fairs organized to introduce Izmir and the region to the world and to new investors are opportunities. Of course, our endeavors are not limited to fairs; fairs can only be one aspect of the promotion. As airport operators, we will go on supporting all promotional activities and fulfill our responsibilities in this respect.”

Among the honored guests of the Travel Turkey Izmir Fair and Conference over a period of three days were Denizli and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
